Leasing

If you are buying a flat or maisonette, you will be buying a leasehold. This means that you will be able to live in the property for the term set out in the lease (usually 125 years).

As a leaseholder you will be responsible for paying service charges. These are set out in the lease and are to cover your share of Cartrefi Conwy’s costs to maintain the block and for providing services. You will also have to pay a ground rent currently £10 per year.

Shops

We have a very small number of shops situated on some estates. These occasionally become vacant and if you are interested in leasing a shop, please contact our Leasehold Officer (details below).
